This months painting
If you are a newcomer you might not know this but my practice as a painter has a very conceptual grip therein that every month, but only once a month, I create a new painting. Part of this concept is that the entirety of these artworks make just one whole piece. That means that if you own one, this is only a piece of an entire body of work that is all of my monthly paintings.
‘DAO // FORK’ is the painting of this month and has been made from the fabric that covers the floor in my studio. It is the first painting I have done that is made up of two different smaller canvasses. I am experimenting with having motives that does not correlate placed beside each other. The title is a mix of DAO - Decentralized autonomous organisation and FORK - when a blockchain split in two.

In May I revealed my sound-art persona Kasper Knigge. I have been working with Kasper as my alias for more than ten years and have made exhibitions, released sound-art and texts under his name. Since may the work of Kasper Knigge has become an integrated part of my practice and I will not release more works under this name. Collaboration with NOOW
I have begun a collaboration with the online blockchain platform called NOOW. Together wit NOOW I will provide access to my work to television screens. This is a new technology that enables collectors of digital art to show their collections on the walls at home and in galleries.
