News about STRING
‘Flat earth’ is the painting of this month in the STRING series. The painting is inspired by the book ‘Three body problem’ by Liu Cixin. The painting consists of two paintings. They can be taken apart and thus the painting can become fragmented and scattered over two different locations. Like all other paintings in STRING the painting will be tokenized as one work.
What has happened lately
STRING is on Ethereum
During November I have tokenized 15 paintings from STRING on Ethereum. Eight of these tokenized works have already been sold. The remaining seven works will be put on sale on Opensea during December. The works will be sold on auctions and the starting bid will be 4 eth. You can get to the auction on Opensea by following the links on each painting. At the first of January I will accept all offers that are over 4 eth. Please send me a mail with your shipping address to mail@jonaskasperjensen.com if you are biting on a painting and get the token. I will then send you the actual painting free of charge. If you would like to buy one of the works but do not know how to handle ETH yet, then reach out and I will help you to get started. The current value of 4 ETH is 1.900 EURO.
The available tokenized paintings are:

I have been in invited to present five works from STRING on a solo exhibition at CICA Museum in Seoul/South Korea. The show will take place in December 2021. For the exhibition I will make five new paintings that deals with the Go game match between the AI machine AlphaGo and Lee Sedol. The paintings will be AI generated collages over the five games that were played before AlphaGo won. I will let you know more about this exhibition as we get closer to the opening in 2021.
